23.12.2025 14:01The state enterprise “Multimedia Platform for Foreign Broadcasting of Ukraine” signed four agreements last week with TV channels to produce content for the Unified News Marathon through the end of this year, for a total of 109 million hryvnias (€2.2 million).
This was reported by Nashi Hroshi, citing a tender in the public procurement system Prozorro.
In March, four agreements were signed with TV channels to produce content for the marathon in 2025 for 738 million hryvnias (€14.9 million). Now, services for November–December have been commissioned for 109 million hryvnias (€2.2 million). The new contracts range from 24 million hryvnias (€485,000) to 29 million hryvnias (€586,000). The amounts differ due to varying volumes of paid content.
Thus, the total cost of producing content for the marathon this year has risen to 847 million hryvnias (€17.1 million). And including spending on another TV marathon, “FreeDom,” content producers for both projects have already been paid 2.7 billion hryvnias (€54.6 million).
As a reminder, next year’s budget allocates 4 billion hryvnias (€80.8 million) for the TV marathon—2.5 times more than this year.
