In Ukraine, the training period for pilots on American F-16 fighter jets has been reduced by almost three months.
This was announced by Ukraine’s Deputy Minister of Defense, Serhiy Melnyk.
According to Melnyk, Ukraine has optimized the process of cadets obtaining private pilot licenses.
“This will allow the training period for F-16 pilots to be shortened by nearly three months,” Melnyk noted.
The Deputy Minister also stated that over the past 10 years, more than 15,000 Ukrainian military personnel have been trained as part of NATO’s Defence Education Enhancement Programme.
