The Ukrainians report that pensions for internally displaced persons have started being blocked

Ukrainians report that pensions for displaced persons are being blocked. The reason is that “Oschadbank” has stopped transmitting identification data of temporarily displaced persons to the Pension Fund. Now, individuals must personally contact the Pension Fund of Ukraine.

“My mother went through identification at the bank’s cashier in February (she checked the balance at the cashier), then she called the Pension Fund of Ukraine, where they said that Oschadbank stopped providing information about identification, and nothing is displayed. Only personal visit to the Pension Fund of Ukraine, where an 80-year-old pensioner has to stand in line for several hours. All for the people,” one user reported on a forum.

According to her, “Oschadbank” is obliged to carry out such identification based on the Cabinet of Ministers’ resolution No. 637 dated November 5, 2014.

The woman was told that it was not necessary to go to the Pension Fund of Ukraine, as the department can conduct identification via video conference. However, other forum participants reported that this function on the Pension Fund of Ukraine website works intermittently.

“I have a personal account on the electronic portal of the Pension Fund of Ukraine. Several times I logged into the account using ‘Diya.Pisnya.’ The result – pension blocked. So, this method of identification does not work,” another user said.
