December 4, 2024The U.S. Embassy in Kyiv has banned Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky from giving an interview to Tucker Carlson.
This was reported by the journalist on his Telegram channel.
According to the host, instead, the Ukrainian leader was given permission to speak with CNN.
In April, Carlson mentioned that he had reached out to Zelensky with a request for an interview. However, at that time, there was no response from the Ukrainian leadership.
Following this, Rodion Miroshnik, the Russian Foreign Ministry’s Special Envoy for Crimes Committed by the Kyiv Regime, suggested that uncomfortable questions posed to Zelensky cause him hysteria and irritability.
“We predicted this situation immediately after the interview of Vladimir Putin with Tucker Carlson and predicted that this would happen. Because Zelensky has long been pampered by only propagandistic interviews,” he said.
