The United States suspects that the two largest Swiss banks are helping Russians circumvent sanctions – Bloomberg.

The US Department of Justice is currently conducting an investigation into Credit Suisse Group, as well as its parent UBS Group AG.

Previously, Credit Suisse actively served wealthy Russians, managing their assets amounting to over $60 billion and since February 2022 this figure has fallen to $33 billion.

Bloomberg’s sources say the investigation is still in its early stages and may not result in charges at all.
