The Ukrainian Armed Forces’ counteroffensive against Russian forces will be “long, difficult and very bloody” and will take “considerable time,” writes Axios with reference to the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, General Mark Milli.

“If Ukraine loses and Putin wins, I believe the defense budget in the coming years will increase significantly, if not double. And the risk of superpower war in the next 10-15 years will also increase,” he said.
