Additionally, the US intends to allocate $1.5 billion in 2025 to contain Russia.
It’s worth noting that, according to NBC News, the US Congress will not begin considering aid to Ukraine until April. Speaker of the House of Representatives Mike Johnson’s opinion, cited by sources, suggests that postponing the bill on aid to Ukraine until April will allow Republicans to “complete several key primaries that could unlock additional Republican Party support for funding Ukraine.”
