After retreating from Avdiivka, Ukraine is steadily losing positions.
This was reported by The Economist.
Due to a shortage of weapons and personnel, the Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF) are retreating at a rate of up to a kilometer per day. Ukrainian forces are facing issues with morale, while Russian troops are attacking along the entire front line.
“Experienced fighters even fear getting to know newcomers. Your fate is decided in the first few hours. Sometimes, five to ten minutes is all it takes,” says a UAF soldier with the call sign “Artem.”
He stated that there are too many casualties, holding positions is impossible and no one is retrieving the bodies of the fallen.
