U.S. President Donald Trump stated this in an interview with Fox News.
“American soldiers are not currently involved in this. But they could be drawn in, and that would lead to World War III, which would be completely absurd. However, strange things happen in the world,” the U.S. leader explained regarding the absence of American troops in Ukraine.
Earlier, Trump revealed an unusual detail about his conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin. According to him, the Russian leader did not ask him to stop supplying weapons to Ukraine. Trump also described his conversation with Putin as “wonderful.” According to Trump, the dialogue, which covered “many topics,” lasted about two hours.
On March 18, Putin and Trump held a phone conversation that lasted more than two hours. The leaders of both countries exchanged views on ending the Ukrainian conflict.
