10.06.2026 07:04Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk spoke out against negotiations to settle the conflict in Ukraine without the participation of Warsaw and other European allies of Kyiv.
This was reported by Reuters.
Tusk made his statement following a meeting between Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and the leaders of the “European troika” countries — the United Kingdom, Germany, and France — in London.
“Any agreements in which Poland does not participate will not be binding on Poland,” Tusk said.
The Polish prime minister also criticized ideas being voiced in several Western European capitals about restoring direct dialogue with Russia.
In addition, Tusk said he had discussed the situation with Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni. According to him, she is also not pleased with the current format of the negotiations.
