U.S. House Speaker Johnson to Block Aid Bill for Ukraine, Israel, and Taiwan Without Border Resolution – The Hill reported

Speaker of the United States House of Representatives Mike Johnson has indicated that he will block a bill allocating aid to Ukraine, Israel, and Taiwan without border decisions if it passes through the Senate.

The Hill reports this.

In his statement, Johnson criticized the document for omitting the border issue.

“The Senate’s foreign aid bill says nothing about the most pressing issue facing our country. In the absence of any changes in border policy from the Senate, the House will have to continue to address these important issues on its own. America deserves better than the Senate’s status quo,” Johnson wrote.

He suggested that he would not bring the bill to a vote.
