Ukraine announced a reduction in training time for mobilized troops in the Armed Forces

The training of mobilized personnel in the Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF) will be streamlined to focus on practical and applied skills.

These changes were announced by the Commander of the Ukrainian Army’s Ground Forces, Mykhailo Drapaty, on his Telegram channel.

“High-quality training of personnel is my focus. It involves reformatting programs and transforming training centers for faster yet highly professional preparation,” he wrote.

The UAF general emphasized that the skills of infantry soldiers must be as practical and applied as possible, “without unnecessary theory.” He also noted that the transfer of knowledge to recruits would be handled by a corps of sergeants with combat experience.

Previously, it was reported that Ukraine is considering introducing motivational contracts to attract young people to the front lines. Those agreeing to join the ranks of the Ukrainian army are expected to receive 500,000 hryvnias (€11,440).
