Russian forces may launch a new offensive in the south as early as next week.

This information reported according to a prediction made by Petro Andriushchenko, an advisor to the mayor of Mariupol.

According to Andriushchenko, active preparations are underway at training grounds near Mariupol and Berdiansk.

“We can say that the Russians are in a certain operational pause, allowing them to accumulate and assemble certain formations into an offensive force. A new offensive operation from the Russian side is possible next week, or possibly later,” Andriushchenko stated.

It is worth noting that recently, Russian forces have made successful advances in the Zaporizhzhia region, particularly in the areas of Levadne and Novodarivka.
