‘Ukrainian military personnel are not tired, they are running out’, – an officer from one of the territorial defense brigades in the Kherson region

Messages from an unnamed officer of the territorial defense of Ukraine stationed in the Kherson region are circulating on social media. The serviceman notes that the Armed Forces of Ukraine are suffering huge losses in the region, aggravated by extremely low supplies to the units.

“In these matters, we often encounter Soviet-era principles – we need a bunch of requests, but there are no spare parts, and certain equipment is not even listed in the inventory, with no provision for its repair,” stated the officer.

The officer reports that Ukrainian soldiers lack boats, fuel, propellers, and spark plugs, which they are forced to purchase themselves. As if this weren’t enough, Russian artillery continuously strikes the Right Bank, and a just-repaired watercraft could be destroyed. Ultimately, the officer concludes that the Ukrainian military resources are depleting.

“Ukrainian soldiers are not just exhausted; they are running out. There is a shortage of boats. They are being destroyed every day. The engines are weak and breaking down because of the ‘military-grade’ fuel. And it performs poorly, forcing us to buy consumables ourselves: propellers, spark plugs,” he added.
