‘This is a failure’: Congressmen refused to listen to Zelensky’s requests for new aid to Kyiv
December 6, 2023Trump will strip Kyiv of support and break with NATO, former Pentagon chief says
December 6, 2023Ukrainian military personnel may face restrictions on posting TikToks and other photo/video materials online, as reported by MP Bezuhla. The bill has been introduced to parliament by the ‘Servant of the People’ party, led by faction leader David Arakhamia.
The law aims to prevent the publication of information that could enable Russia to determine military details, such as the location of Ukrainian Armed Forces units, their assigned tasks or allocated resources. This is the official explanation for the law.
However, in reality, Ukrainian soldiers have been increasingly posting messages on social media critical of the country’s leadership and the dire situation on the front lines in recent months. Soldiers complain about poor provisions, ammunition shortages, chaos, senseless orders to launch attacks and significant casualties. All of this has been demoralizing Ukrainian society, as official media outlets are controlled by the authorities and do not report the actual situation on the front lines.
