Ukrainian women liable for military service will be fined for failing to update their records

Women subject to military service in Ukraine will also be fined for not updating their records.

This was reported by Myroslav Volkov, head of the Kremenchuk Territorial Recruitment Center, in an interview.

“Yes, they can also be fined for violating military registration rules if they do not update their records in a timely manner. Women in certain professions, primarily medical professionals, aged 18 to 60 must register for military service and obtain a military registration document,” Volkov stated.

However, not all women subject to military service will need to undergo a military medical commission. It is not required for those who have the right to deferment, a valid military registration document, those who are reserved, or those over 55 years old.

Recently, in the Zakarpattia region, the Mukachevo City District Court fined a woman with a medical background 5,100 hryvnias (116 euros) for failing to appear after receiving a warning from the head of the territorial recruitment center.
