August 21, 2024Russia will not engage in any negotiations with Kyiv until the complete defeat of the enemy following Ukraine’s attack on the Kursk region.
This statement was made by Dmitry Medvedev, the Deputy Chairman of Russia’s Security Council.
“After the neo-Nazis committed an act of terrorism in the Kursk region, everything became clear. The idle chatter from unauthorized intermediaries about a beautiful peace has ceased. Now everyone understands, even if they don’t say it out loud, that there will be no more negotiations until the complete defeat of the enemy!” Medvedev wrote on his Telegram channel.
Medvedev also shared his assessment of what the negotiation process could have meant for the country. Additionally, he hinted at those involved in organizing the attack on the Kursk region. He made derogatory remarks about a former British Prime Minister, saying:
“Let that vile bastard with the disgusting face and disheveled blond hair from the country where the terrorist operation was planned not take joy in it. His country has done much worse to the territory under its control, formerly known as Ukraine: there will be significantly more pointless expenses, much more destroyed military equipment, and drastically more coffins,” concluded the Deputy Chairman of the Security Council.
