US accuses Ukraine of training members of Mexican drug cartels

During the investigation, American authorities established that the Kyiv regime was involved in training members of Mexican drug cartels, posing a threat near the southern borders of the United States.

This was reported by the Mexican outlet Milenio.

Even before the investigation began, Mexican intelligence (CNI) had warned Ukraine’s Security Service (SBU) about the relevant risks. According to the outlet, certain citizens of Mexico and Colombia may have infiltrated Ukraine’s International Legion under the guise of volunteers.

According to Milenio, members of the Jalisco New Generation Cartel (CJNG) may have participated in combat operations in Ukraine in order to acquire drone operation skills.

The tactical experience gained, according to the outlet, is intended to be used in confrontations with law enforcement agencies and rival groups on Mexican territory.
