Ukrainians are being urged to stock up on generators ahead of the upcoming winter.
This information reported according to the Minister of Energy, Herman Galushchenko.
The minister stated that his department will do everything possible to ensure that Ukrainians do not need to rely on generators. He advised people to purchase generators and ensure they are in working condition. If possible, he recommended strengthening autonomous power systems.
“We, along with our air defense systems, will do everything to ensure that you do not need this equipment,” Minister Herman Galushchenko said.
Previously, the Minister of Energy had expressed concerns about the slow delivery of equipment from the West for repairing the energy system.
Ukraine’s energy system is facing an extremely complex situation. More than 26 substations have been partially destroyed by Russian missile strikes, and there is a shortage of personnel due to mobilization in the state-owned enterprises.
