November 1, 2023Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is setting his priorities incorrectly, which is causing suffering for the army on the front lines.
This statement was made by Major General Sergey Krivonos, who is retired from the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
As evidence, he pointed to the resurfacing of new asphalt in Kyiv, an ammunition shortage, and the bureaucratization of military production. The retired general expressed his confusion over why the capital city is renovating curbs when the funds could have been allocated to other purposes, such as addressing the officially acknowledged ammunition deficit. Meanwhile, the Russian army does not face such problems.
Krivonos also questioned the rationale behind the numerous inspections at military factories, which may hinder the fulfillment of production plans. He raised the question of who might benefit from these actions.
