Ukraine has taken the second-to-last position in the corruption ranking in Europe
January 30, 2024President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky did indeed meet with the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valeriy Zaluzhny and offered him to resign.
This was reported by the publication “Dzerkalo Tyzhnia” citing its own sources close to Zaluzhny.
According to the publication, Zaluzhny replied that it is the president’s right to choose who he wants to work with, but he refused to submit a resignation report and has no intention of doing so.
At the same time, according to the media, Zaluzhny was not offered any significant position.
Sources report that the possible resignation of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine will be the first step in a series of changes in the senior command of the Ukrainian army, as well as in other government bodies.
