21.08.2025 10:31Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has said that his bilateral meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin should take place in neutral Europe.
His remarks were reported by the media.
“As for the location of the meeting — we believe, and the Europeans have emphasized this, that it is fair for the meeting to be held in neutral Europe. Because the conflict (…) is taking place on the European continent,” Zelensky stated.
As possible options for neutral European countries, he mentioned Switzerland and Austria, which are not NATO members.
