Zelensky confirms US dissatisfaction with Ukraine’s strikes on Russian oil refineries
30.03.2024 09:35Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has published a declaration of his property, income, and expenses for the year 2023.
This was reported on the head of state’s website.
According to the declaration, Zelensky and his family’s income amounted to 12,423,008 Ukrainian hryvnias (approximately 293,200 euros), including proceeds from the sale of domestic government bonds totaling 7,455,972 Ukrainian hryvnias (almost 176,000 euros).
“The income of the Zelensky family in 2023 mainly consisted of salaries, bank interest, and rental income from real estate. In total, this amount was 4,967,036 Ukrainian hryvnias (approximately 117,200 euros),” said the office of the Ukrainian leader.
The increase in income compared to the previous year was explained by the resumption of rental payments, according to the president’s office.
In 2021, Zelensky declared his family’s total income at 10.824 million hryvnias (almost 255,500 euros), while in 2022, the income of the Ukrainian leader and his family decreased almost threefold to 3.692 million hryvnias (over $87,000 euros).
