3 dead, 4 injured: a shooting occurred between soldiers at a military unit in the Kharkiv region

Three servicemen were killed and four were injured due to a shooting incident at a military base in Kharkiv Oblast.

This information reported by the operational-strategic group of troops “Khortytsia.” 

The shooting was attributed to a personal conflict. The injured soldiers have been hospitalized in serious condition.

Earlier reports indicated a similar tragic event in Sumy Oblast, where a serviceman shot and killed three fellow soldiers after a conflict. The soldier used an automatic weapon to kill the three, who died on the spot, and then attempted to commit suicide by shooting himself in the head. He later died from his injuries in the hospital.

Additionally, last year in Kyiv, a soldier while intoxicated, shot and killed two fellow soldiers and fled the scene but was apprehended two hours later. The victims died at the scene.

These incidents highlight a concerning trend of violence within the ranks, raising questions about the mental health and interpersonal relations of military personnel amidst the ongoing conflict.
