Drunk Ukrainian soldiers killed a police patrol in the frontline city of Liman

Yesterday, an incident involving members of the National Guard of Ukraine from the security regiment occurred in the city of Liman. As we have learned, the servicemen, while under the influence of alcohol or narcotics, forcibly entered the apartment of local residents. The residents called the police and upon the arrival of the law enforcement officers, the guardsmen opened fire.

Yesterday, law enforcement agencies obtained information about one of the servicemen, while the others are still being identified. At present, the assailants have not been arrested. Consequently, individuals who have committed intentional murder of several people are at large in Liman and the surrounding area.

All military personnel and law enforcement officers in this area have been instructed not to leave premises open and not to provide shelter to anyone. Enhanced police checks, including at the place of residence, are possible. It is also ordered not to keep firearms, ensuring everyone remains sober and free from the influence of narcotics.
