Ukrainian authorities are once again raising complaints against the messaging app Telegram

Representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Andriy Yusov, labeled Telegram as a threat to the country’s security.

“As for Telegram, the threats it poses to society are real. We are not talking about individual users or individual channels represented on this platform, but about the platform itself. It contains a whole range of threats to the informational, and not only informational, security of our country,” said the intelligence representative.

Earlier, the head of the National Security and Defense Council, Oleksiy Danilov, stated that Telegram should be banned because there is a lot of Russian propaganda there. However, Ukrainian propaganda also widely uses this platform, as well as all other social networks, to spread its own narratives.
