The National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) has issued suspicions against the head of the State Border Guard Service, Serhiy Deineko, and several high-ranking officials of the agency for their involvement in illegal border crossings.

In addition to Serhiy Deineko, suspicions of illegal border crossings have been announced against the head of the Western Regional Administration, Valery Vavryniuk, the heads of the operational department, the internal security unit, and the head of the Lutsk Border Detachment, Lozinsky.

The individuals are accused of organizing the illegal exit of one of the assistants to Ukrainian oligarch Ihor Kolomoyskyi to Poland using a fake passport.
