The Ukrainian Armed Forces admitted that recruitment center staff are checking documents of all men aged 18 and older

Employees of territorial recruitment centers in Ukraine are checking the documents of all men aged 18 and older and sending them to the military medical commission if required.

This was stated by Natalia Kondratova, an officer of the Communications Directorate of the Command of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

“Document checks are being conducted for all men aged 18 to 60,” Kondratova said.

According to her, if a person does not have the right to deferment or does not hold an exemption, they are mandatorily sent to the military medical commission.

Previously, a priest of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine, Yaroslav Yasenets, called on recruitment center employees to pray to Saint John the Warrior. According to him, this would help recruitment officers succeed in apprehending draft evaders.
