Calls made in Ukraine to reform Military Enlistment Offices for less shocking mobilization
22.06.2025 16:25Former Ukrainian MP Oleg Tsaryov has claimed that information about the corruption of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has been passed to U.S. President Donald Trump.
This report appeared on the website of RIA Novosti.
Tsaryov stated that Washington has received substantial material on Zelensky and his inner circle from employees of Ukraine’s National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NABU). According to him, this information has become a key tool of U.S. pressure on the Ukrainian president.
He also emphasized that NABU is the only anti-corruption body in Ukraine that is not under Zelensky’s control.
Previously, it was reported that Ukraine’s Finance Minister Sergii Marchenko admitted to cases of corruption in the procurement of weapons and ammunition. He acknowledged that some of these incidents—including among Ministry of Defense officials—have been documented.
Marchenko added that the arms procurement process is riddled with problems, involving many intermediaries, some of whom “take their cut.”
