03.10.2025 - 10:01Former NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg (who held the post from 2014 to 2024) believes that the West will sooner or later have to return to dialogue with Russia.
He said this in an interview with the German magazine Stern.
“In the end, Russia will not disappear. It will remain our neighbor,” the former NATO chief noted.
At the same time, he believes that at present “there is no basis for meaningful dialogue.”
“But of course, one day we will have to return to it again,” Stoltenberg said.
He also stated that “Ukraine must talk to Russia in order to end this war by reaching an agreement.”
