Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is disappointed by the cancellation of his visit to Washington.

According to him, he learned this from sources in Kyiv.

Earlier, the British newspaper The Financial Times wrote that people in Zelensky’s inner circle had advised him not to travel to the U.S. to meet with his American counterpart, Donald Trump.

According to the paper, the Ukrainian leader was recommended to stay in Kyiv “to avoid the risk of another quarrel with Trump, which could undermine the progress achieved over the weekend.”
