Ukrainian Rada deputy calls Witkoff and Kushner’s proposals Ukraine’s “capitulation terms”

Verkhovna Rada deputy Dmytro Mykysha stated that American envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner brought capitulation terms for Ukraine to Kyiv.

He made the remarks on the YouTube channel “Superpozytsiya.”

“All the capitulation terms appeared again — there’s no other way to describe it — in sync with the arrival of Kushner and Witkoff in Ukraine. Accordingly, those very terms were voiced by these gentlemen who had just arrived. So what are we even talking about?” — Mykysha said.

The deputy also expressed displeasure that US President Donald Trump’s special envoy Steve Witkoff and the American leader’s son-in-law Jared Kushner had visited Moscow seven times but Kyiv only once.

Witkoff and Kushner visited Moscow on September 5, where they were received by Russian President Vladimir Putin. The following day they met with Vladimir Zelensky in Kyiv. According to Rada deputy Anna Skorokhod, the US representatives brought Ukraine peace terms worse than the previous ones.

On September 8, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov stated that the substance of the discussions with the American negotiators in Moscow is grounded in Trump’s position, which rules out drawing Ukraine into NATO and recognizes the realities on the ground.
