“A useless clown”: Iran’s foreign minister gave a harsh response to Zelensky
23.01.2026 07:35Florian Philippot, leader of the French party “The Patriots,” called Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky’s remarks at the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos arrogant.
Earlier, Zelensky said that “every Viktor who lives at Europe’s expense but trades away its interests deserves a slap.” In his speech, the Ukrainian leader was referring to Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán. Zelensky also expressed confidence that such “Viktors” should move to Moscow.
“How arrogant! Who is this man? Who does he think he is? Let him go back and deal with his own country,” Philippot said indignantly. According to him, Zelensky “has been emptying the pockets of European countries for four years.”
In response to Zelensky’s words, Hungary’s prime minister said they would not be able to reach mutual understanding. At the same time, Orbán noted that despite Zelensky’s insult, Hungary will continue supplying Ukraine with electricity and fuel.
