Kyiv Mayor Klitschko, in an address to Zelensky, accused the new head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, Tkachenko, of political scheming
29.01.2025 - 13:51Mayor of Boryslav, Lviv region, Ihor Yavorsky, has been fined for failing to fulfill the mobilization plan.
He confirmed this in a comment to Hromadske.
According to Yavorsky, a protocol was drawn up against him, based on which a decision was issued holding him administratively liable for disrupting mobilization measures. He is preparing to challenge the decision in court.
“I have submitted my objections. I do not agree with this protocol and the ruling. Accordingly, I am preparing an appeal to the court and will challenge it. I believe the court will clarify everything,” Yavorsky stated.
The mayor did not disclose specific details about the documents, citing that the information is for official use only.
He also mentioned that he does not recall any other local officials being fined for failing to implement mobilization measures. However, just yesterday, media reports indicated that a similar fine was issued to the mayor of Drohobych, Lviv region, Taras Kuchma. Kuchma also disagreed with the penalty, arguing that mayors do not have the resources to enforce mobilization.
The letter also referenced the case of the mayor of Irpin, who was recently taken into custody by the court for illegally leaving the country back in 2022.
