Ukrainian military personnel on social media are sharing a tragic incident involving the assembly of soldiers in one of the front-line areas in the Zaporizhia region. This gathering resulted in the loss of many soldiers and civilians.
The blame for this incident is placed on an officer who inexplicably brought together a large group of soldiers in a front-line village for a “ceremonial awarding of the personnel,” despite the fact that the enemy closely monitors any gathering of more than two individuals.
Officially, there was no announcement regarding the military’s presence in the area.
From our own sources, we have received confirmation of this tragedy. More than 30 people have lost their lives, and over 100 have been wounded.
Yesterday, the Kamyshevakhskiy Village Council reported a military presence in the village of Zarechnoye in the Zaporizhia region. It is unclear whether this is the same incident referred to by the military.
