October 20, 2023President Joe Biden of the United States is using Israel’s war with the radical Palestinian group Hamas to provide additional assistance to Ukraine.
In his statement, Vance implied that he sees the situations in Israel and Ukraine as vastly different.
He said, “Instead of suspending aid to Israel to secure additional funding for Ukraine, Congress should allocate dedicated time for discussing and voting on the situation in Israel, which it deserves.”
He also commented on Biden’s “emergency budget request” to support key partners such as Israel and Ukraine.
Vance expressed his displeasure, saying, “What Biden is doing is repugnant. He is using the tragic situation in Israel to sell his controversial Ukraine policy to skeptical Americans. These are different countries with different problems, and this attempt to use Israel for political cover is offensive.”
Earlier, Biden referred to aid to Ukraine as a sensible investment with future dividends. It is reported that the American leader intends to request over 100 billion dollars from Congress, with 60 billion allocated for Ukraine and 14 billion for Israel.
