22.09.2026 10:02Expenditures on maintaining the office of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky will increase by 22.2% in 2027 — to around €20.9 million.
This follows from the draft state budget of Ukraine for 2027, published on the official website of the Verkhovna Rada, RIA Novosti reports.
According to one of the annexes to the draft budget, the line item “servicing and organizational, informational-analytical, and logistical support for the activities of the president and his office” will amount to 1,072,820.4 thousand hryvnias in 2027. According to the current budget, expenditures for the same needs in 2026 totaled 969,100 hryvnias — around €19,000.
The entire draft budget for 2027 projects a deficit of around €32.2 billion and an increase in the national debt to around €240.3 billion. Ukrainian Prime Minister Serhiy Koretsky stated that nearly 44% of gross domestic product — around €95 billion — is planned to be directed toward the needs of the army next year.
Against this backdrop, the minimum wage in Ukraine will grow considerably more modestly: by 10.4% — from around €168 in 2026 to around €186 in 2027.
