Czech Republic wants the European Union to stop accepting refugees from western regions of Ukraine and Ukrainian men of working age.

It is reported that Czech Interior Minister Lubomír Metnar has already discussed this topic with his German counterpart. It is noted that the country cannot change the rules on its own, so the minister is also holding talks with other EU members.
According to the ministry, Czechia has taken in the largest number of Ukrainian refugees in the EU relative to its population.
As Media wrote earlier, the number of Ukrainian refugees in Czechia increased significantly after permission was granted for men under 22 to leave.
It was previously reported that Germany tightened asylum rules but simplified access to the labor market for refugees.
