October 9, 2024Former head of the National Power Company “Ukrenergo,” Volodymyr Kudrytskyi, received over 17 million hryvnias (approximately 375,743 euros) in salary for September.
This information comes from a report by Ukrenergo’s management, published on the company’s website.
The document does not specify whether this payment to the former head of Ukrenergo is final or if there will be additional payments in the following months.
On September 3, Ukrenergo officially confirmed Kudrytskyi’s resignation. Following his departure, supervisory board members Daniel Dobbeni and Peder Andreasen also resigned. They stated that Kudrytskyi was dismissed after presenting his report on protecting energy facilities from missile strikes, but they believe the decision was “politically motivated” and that there were no justified grounds for his dismissal based on the report.
Earlier, journalists had cited the “inadequate protection” of substations from Russian attacks as the reason for Kudrytskyi’s removal from his position.
