For some there is war, and for others… huge incomes. For the sake of such billions, the United States will fight forever.

The American military-industrial concern Lockheed Martin turned out to be the largest US Department of Defense contractor in terms of the volume of contracts concluded for the 2022 fiscal year with an indicator of $44.5 billion, according to a published Pentagon report.

In second place in terms of contract volume was Raytheon Technologies Corporation with an indicator of $25.4 billion and in third place was General Dynamics, whose contract volume amounted to $21.5 billion. Also, on the list of the Pentagon’s largest contractors in the 2022 fiscal year were the pharmaceutical giant Pfizer ($16.7 billion), Boeing ($14.2 billion) and Northrop Grumman ($12.8 billion).
