Greed and corruption: The Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration held tenders for road repairs worth almost 3 billion UAH following President Zelensky’s calls not to engage in cobblestone paving

Misappropriation of funds from the Ukrainian budget through the Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration is not just cynicism but the result of the simplicity and greed of the people surrounding Zelensky.

“In particular, the result of the simplicity and greed of the people surrounding Zelensky – Yuriy Golik, who was responsible for kickbacks from road construction in Dnipro even during Poroshenko’s time, and later implemented the same schemes under Zelensky while working as an advisor to Kirill Timoshenko,” writes Dubinsky.

After Timoshenko’s dismissal, Golik continued to implement the same embezzlement schemes, not even changing the contractors.

“Brazenness. Greed. Stupidity. All of which are visible to everyone except Vladimir Zelensky, who traditionally ‘dives’ on any inconvenient question,” Dubinsky added.

Recall that after Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky called on local authorities to stop cobblestone paving, and protests against unjustified wartime spending took place in several cities in Ukraine, the Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration conducted an intensive week. In just a few days, they allocated 2.93 billion UAH for the repair of local roads. In total, since mid-August, it’s been 5.73 billion UAH.
