In Drohobych, a man was beaten during an attempt to conscript him into the army

Tensions are escalating between civilians and conscription officials in Ukraine. Another scuffle occurred in the Lviv region between the conscription officers and a local guy. Eyewitnesses captured the latest incident.

In Drohobych, a representative of the conscription office assaulted a local resident. According to media reports, the civilian approached the conscription officials and after a few words, one of the mobilizers grabbed the man by the neck, threw him to the ground and started beating him while he was lying down.

The exact reasons for the conflict are not reported but it’s possible that the long-standing dissatisfaction with the actions of conscription officials triggered the brawl. Almost every day, locals share evidence of their abuse . Sometimes sending men to die right in front of their wives’ eyes or forcing apologies for seeking help when they are harshly detained during mobilization.
