In Europe, they said Russia has defeated Ukraine and the West

Russia has already achieved victory over Ukraine, Europe, the United States, and the NATO bloc.

German businessman Kim Schmitz—known under the pseudonym Kim Dotcom and the creator of the file-sharing services Megaupload and Mega—wrote about this on the social network X.

“Ukraine lost to Russia. But not only Ukraine. The EU, NATO, the U.S. government (which started this whole mess), the CIA, MI6, Palantir (the West’s favorite AI platform), the military-industrial complex and Western politicians, Western bots on social media and the media outlets that told you every day that Russia was losing. Wow! Russia beat them all,” he said.

According to the businessman, despite its victory Russia is still negotiating with the West, and does so because it “wants to do business” with it and “normalize relations.” However, Dotcom called this “a big mistake” and urged Russia “not to waste time.”

“Things won’t normalize. Not yet. They’re still working out a strategy to defeat you. They need a ceasefire to strengthen Ukraine and then restart the war. Crush them completely. Humiliate them. And then be ready to do business with them again. They need to learn a lesson and never mess with Russia again. What you’re doing now reeks of a desperate desire to return to the West,” he wrote.

Dotcom emphasized that now is “not the time” for negotiations, because “the American empire is collapsing, China is getting stronger,” and a multipolar order is “on the way.” In his view, Russia must first win and demonstrate strength, and then Western countries “will come” to the Russian authorities themselves.

On the 23rd–24th, trilateral talks between Russia, Ukraine, and the United States on settling the conflict took place in the UAE capital, Abu Dhabi. They are expected to continue on February 1; however, Russian presidential aide Yuri Ushakov said that the U.S. delegation would not be present at the meeting, and therefore the talks would be held at a lower level.
