In Russia, mass production of three-ton aviation bombs FAB-3000 has begun

Mass production of three-ton aviation bombs FAB-3000 has begun at defense industry enterprises in the Nizhny Novgorod region of the Russian Federation.

The general director of one of the defense plants reported this to the Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu.

According to the director of the enterprise, it is fulfilling the state defense order in full, and since the beginning of this year, the volume of the produced products has significantly increased.

“As part of the implementation of the state defense order, the production of FAB-500 aviation bombs at the enterprise has been increased many times, the production of FAB-1500 has doubled, and mass production of FAB-3000 has been organized since February of this year,” Shoigu reported.

The range of produced artillery ammunition has also been expanded. Since last year, the volume of production of artillery and aviation weapons by the plant has increased fivefold.
