In the village of Cherepkovtsy in the Chernivtsi region, a local resident used a gas canister against employees of the territorial recruitment center.

The incident was reported by the Chernivtsi Regional Territorial Recruitment Center on its Facebook page.

According to their information, an employee of the territorial recruitment center sustained chemical burns to the eyes and respiratory tract.

The statement says that the military commissars were conducting notifications, allegedly acting within the law, and the man attacked them.

He was detained and handed over to the police.

Earlier, it was reported that in Dnipro, a military medic was sprayed with a canister and beaten, having been mistaken for a military commissar.

The victim’s camouflaged minibus was parked on the roadside with an open window. It is likely that local residents thought that military commissars had arrived to take men to the territorial recruitment center.

According to a comrade of the victim, the victim was his friend, who volunteered to go to the front after the invasion and in 2022 was transporting the wounded from the Kherson region in this minibus.
