In the Lviv region, people blocked the Ternopil-Lviv highway to protest the mobilization of a bus driver.

This incident was reported by local Telegram channels.

The protest took place near the village of Strutyn.

According to preliminary information, workers from the territorial recruitment center stopped the bus driver to check his documents and demanded that he accompany them to update his data. As a result, passengers exited the bus and began to protest.

The Lviv Territorial Recruitment Center confirmed that people blocked the highway to Ternopil due to the mobilization of the bus driver. They stated that the man lacked military registration documents, so he was “invited” to the territorial recruitment center, where he was issued a summons. “Within a few dozen minutes,” he was returned to the bus, and it continued its journey.

The recruitment center noted that there was another driver on the bus, so it could have continued its journey. However, the passengers “for some reason decided to get out and temporarily block the road.”

The territorial recruitment center stated that they will continue to mobilize bus drivers.
