In Vinnytsia region, men of conscription age have been banned from approaching the border with Moldova

In the Vinnytsia region, entry of men of conscription age into the border zone near Moldova has been prohibited, through which draft evaders often attempt to leave Ukraine.

This was reported by border guards of the Mohyliv-Podilskyi unit on their Facebook page, referring to the directive from the leadership.

Thus, potential conscripts are prohibited from entering the territories of the Yaryshevsky, Mohyliv-Podilskyi, Yamnol, and Studenyansky territorial communities of the Mohyliv-Podilskyi and Tulchyn districts.

The new measure is explained by the goals of “ensuring the implementation of activities for national security and defense and strengthening control over compliance with the border regime, state border regime, and prevention and countering of offenses.”

Along with this directive, a number of exceptions are provided by local authorities. In particular, for local residents of border communities, local workers, students, and citizens traveling through the designated territories in transit with appropriate documents.

Earlier, border guards did not allow a man to enter Moldova, who got married to a woman with disabilities three days before departure.
