Ukrainians choose three years in prison instead of death on the front lines

Military commissions have begun falsifying signatures and sending everyone straight to military units without discrimination. In Lviv, a man who categorically refused mobilization was sentenced to three years of imprisonment.

According to the court, a resident of Lviv underwent a military medical examination in September 2023, which deemed him fit for military service. The man received a summons but refused mobilization. During the court hearing, the Lviv resident explained that he was against war and did not want to kill Russians. He emphasized his willingness to bear criminal responsibility for evading mobilization.

It’s worth noting that the military often resort to physical violence against people who refuse to fight. In some cases, individuals openly express their readiness to go to prison but not to the army.
