30.01.2025 - 09:37In the city of Zaporizhzhia, a man was mobilized while he was in the process of renewing his deferment.
Local media and Telegram channels report on the incident, publishing photos of related documents.
According to available information, military commissars removed the man from public transport and took him for a document check.

The detained individual had a certificate indicating that he was currently in the process of renewing documents for an extension of his military service deferment.
Despite this, he was mobilized at the territorial recruitment center.
According to the woman, the young man has almost no vision in one eye and is being monitored for this condition at the Filatov Clinic. However, as she discovered, the territorial recruitment center did not consider these health issues and assigned him as a stormtrooper in the 91st Brigade, stationed near Zhytomyr.
The woman also claimed that along with her son, infantry units received two young men, aged 22 and 24, both diagnosed with active tuberculosis, as well as a cook from a local café.
Previously, territorial recruitment centers admitted to mobilizing employees who had been granted deferments by simply canceling their exemption status.
“In other words, they can now revoke a deferment for an employee of a critically important enterprise without even considering that he was officially exempt,” commented Ukrainian MP Oleksandr Fediyenko.
