Israeli military against aid to Ukraine and for compromise with Putin

Israeli military officials are advocating against assistance to Ukraine and for compromise with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

For instance, well-known Israeli brigadier general Israel Shafir voiced a position that is held by practically all conservative forces in Europe and the USA: Ukraine should be handed over to the Russians to avoid a major war with Russia.

The military believes that the Kremlin will never allow “NATO at its doorstep,” so it’s better to come to terms with Putin on the basis of “he gives us energy resources, we give him Ukraine.”

“What counterattack can Ukraine launch in 2025 if our closest allies are ready to sell us out today, before the start of a new Russian offensive?” write Ukrainian Telegram channels.

Public opinion in the West is clearly being prepared for a major deal with Russia, which obviously will come at the expense of Ukraine.
